To get started seasoning the turkey you will start with about 2 1/2 tablespoons of your favorite seasoning rub. Refer to Fig. 9 for the approximate amount of seasoning you will need to start.

Start by sprinkling a little seasoning into the cavity of the turkey. Next, you will rub the seasoning beneath the skin of the turkey onto the meat (Fig. 10). Make sure that you get seasoning beneath the skin on both sides of the turkey (breast and back).
After this is done season the outside skin of the turkey well. Refer to Fig. 11 & 12 for guidance.
